As mentioned in my blog this week, I've been playing a lot of Allods Online. There's a lot to say about this game, which could conceivably at first be merely dismissed as another clone of Blizzard's megahit. Surely enough it shares some of the common features of World of Warcraft, but come on... so do a lot of games that came long before the big mama-jama of MMOs.
At a certain point we'll have to stop pointing fingers and calling games a clone of this and that and accept that there are commonalities across the genre. Besides, I'm not one to brush off a quality gaming experience merely because it's derivative, and thus I've been enjoying my time with Allods. Enough that I've decided to throw caution to the wind and write up a second impressions based on my second sitting with the game. Why? The first couple hours with any MMO are usually clouded by newness and what's spiffy in the game. I've consistently found that the second time I sit down to play a game for a good length of time is usually when some of the more bothersome traits stand out.
With that in mind, I logged back into Allods a day after my first visit. I stood around one of the first encampments of NPCs, completely flooded by a swarm of fellow players. It would seem that Free-to-Play and polish amount to lots of word of mouth. The downside of the massive starter area population? The zone chat is a never-ending swarm of Warcraft conversation devolving occasionally into Chuck Norris jokes and caps-locked spam. On top of the chat, most quests involve the killing of certain mobs or collecting of various objects, and hence it's not uncommon to see herds of player standing around spawn-camping. Luckily it seems players are wise enough to accept spur-of-the-moment party invites, which makes completing these quests a much easier task.
I checked out my quest log and decided it was time to venture off and finish a few I'd merely begun the day before when it occurred to me: there is no mini-map in Allods. A single tear dripped down my face. I suppose it's not entirely necessary to have one, given that the game's map is well-detailed and tracks all quests for you, but still I've grown accustomed to having one in my games and the compass they have in place of the mini-map is just shy of useless.
I did manage to finally nab my little Gibberling scout the skill "Incendiary Arrow". Before acquiring my burning projectiles, I'll admit to being a little dismayed over Allods' combat pacing. It seemed slower than necessary, and I found myself wondering why my character didn't have an auto-attack to speed things up a little. But Incendiary Arrow changed that. Using the skill charges up about eight shots worth of flaming arrows that are put on reserve in my quiver. Whenever I pluck off a "Steady Shot", one of the arrows is used. If it finds its mark, a DOT is applied to the target that causes a significant amount of damage every two seconds for twelve seconds total... and it can stack up to three times. When before I'd spend about a minute pulling and hacking away at enemies, Incendiary Arrow suddenly had mobs dropping before they even reached me. I only hope other classes have similarly helpful skills at their disposal or I'd imagine less-DPS inclined classes would die from boredom during solo play.
Eventually I was tasked with my first group quest called "Daemon Soul". Handily, the group quests are denoted as such in your quest log, and luckily with so many players out and about it wasn't hard to find a group and go tackle the beasty in question. What was rather unlucky is that we were all DPS or crowd-control players and we quickly met our doom. I was trying my best to use the little Gibberling scout to kite the bugger around after I gained agro, but I still dropped faster than my brother when faced with the prospect of standing up to his wife (zing!).
Once deader than dead, I found myself in Purgatory with dozens of other wasted souls, a massive servant of the gods watching over us all until such a time when we could return to the world at large. I only died the once, but the wait was rather swift, even if the place where I found myself when resurrected was a far run away from the quest I was trying to complete. No, it's not Purgatory that I find troubling about Allods Online's death penalty. It's the resurrection penalty "Fear of Death" that comes with being revived by a fellow player. No, I won't say that the penalty itself is too harsh. What is too harsh is the price players must pay to remove said penalty using cash-shop items called Perfumes. This is the root of the reason the game's fans are in an uproar over the recently announced cash-shop prices, and it's a good reason at that. As noted bloggers Keen and Graev have pointed out, the potential expenditure for an average raider is sitting somewhere around $50 a month for the required amount of perfumes to enjoy a crucial part of the game.
But I digress. The game is in Open Beta (even if characters are staying through to launch) and there is time for the developer to change the public perception of their money-hungry ways and I hope they do as much. It would be a shame if such a quality gaming experience fell because of pure greed. Heck, Allods is such a nicely polished experience in my first few hours that I'd gladly pay a standard subscription for it if I was asked to do so. And yet clearly the company behind the title thinks that there's far more money to be made through the cash-shop instead.
In any case, I'm still having a really enjoyable time with Allods Online. And as I've stated in previous writings, I'm inclined to give the developer some of my money for cash-shop items. But I think given the current state of their pricing, I'll be waiting for a while before taking that plunge and I can only hope that the shop is marked down as a whole before too long. In the interim I'll keep scrambling around the floating islands killing things with burning projectiles until such a time where I deem it too costly to be worth my time.
I am a level 16 summoner and I still agree with author, Its a very polished game, I have not seen 1 bug since closed beta. Its fun and I also would gladly fork over 15 dollars a month to play this game for a sub. Other than the cash shop the only other concern I have is with the game is after level 20 when your suposidly thrown into PvP zones. I am A pvE'er at heart and want my PvP a mutual engagement, but time will tell.
You need to read the next patch notes, mobs are going to have 200% more HP, they are going to crit more its insane. Going to take a lot longer to kill the same mob.
i disagree completly with the polish,if you make a game with cartoony grafics, then you need to put the detail elsewhere in the game, and frankly this game is only a litle more detailed than a F2P game, and the item mall and patchs seem to be geared to make it imposible to not use the store,or at least make it very inconveniant to play totaly free, and i really dont have an isue with buying a bag for a dollar,a horse for 5 dollars,a stack of(cringe)perfumes, for several dollars, as long as these items are permanent or dont have a rediculous time limit on them, and these item are either missing completly from the dlobal drop or are very rare, bags are so rare taht in my entire time playing(beta 3) i have not had a bag drop , the only time i saw a horse is when there where 3 or 4 really angry horses in the main squere killing players, i have not seen the new patch notes personaly but if what i have heard is true, then i do not see players staying longer, further thining the herd, and pushing the loyal players to there limits of what they will tolerate,i think what they are trying to do is shock us into submission, start off with insane prices then eventually go down to overpriced, the comunity thats still there will gladly pay rediculous prices when they are done.and there will still be players left when they are done, i encountered them endlessly while i played, i would put them in a catagory beyond fanboys/girls,who will attack you rabidly if you even mention the games similarities to World of warcraft or any other game,..wich tere really isnt any other game to compair it to , i geuss you can compair the skill bat slots with everquest 2, but everything else they handled like world of warcraft, wich is not a bad thing, i really enjoy world of warcraft, but if i have a choice of 15 a month for WoW or 50 a month for allods, unfortunatly my sanity will choose, Because you ahve to be insane to pay those prices for needed items, this is probably the most i have typed about a game, this game is really bothering me so i am just going to stop here
Currently there are a ton of problems in pvp. Currently have a 23 mage on empire, so have seen many interesting squabbles occur. People have been screaming hacker non stop about this person or that attacking others while not having their pvp flag on. While there is an item called Banner of War which allows you to attack non-flagged people, not sure if it allows you yourself to remain unflagged. At any rate, the pvp grind becomes an interesting mess.
There is a ranking system in pvp which starts you off as a rookie at 10 glory points, then you need about 1000 to get to next level, and it skyrockets from there. These aren't per kill points, just exp for killing players. Oh and the rank that you earned is reset at the end of a week. So you have to pvp nonstop to get the ranked gear, and then try again the next week from zero again. Odd policy.
Fear of Death. A debuff lasting two and a half minutes at level 23, that drops everything by 25%. Currently only TWO ways to combat this. Use perfume from cash shop, or buy Myrh from the Servant of the Light. The Myrh also reduces your time in purgatory by bribing a nearby mpc to get out early. Then you can talk to the Servant again for the option to get rid of your FoD with a small payment of Myrh. Odd system, but at least you can spend in game gold on it as opposed to buying perfume.
Aside from the changes coming in the next patch and the outrageous prices in the cash shop, its a decent if not crowded game. Tons of gold spam in started zones, often for prices that are not worth it with the various crafting and gathering professions that are available. An auction house adds to the pot of not needing to buy gold.
Locked chests drop off certain mobs, and can be unlocked with an imbued key that you can only buy from the cash shop. Although it can be sold in-game to players, but there is an issue right now with trading. When you trade with another player, especially for a set amount of items, the window does not show amounts. So say your buying 5 perfumes from someone. In the trade window it will show up as 1 perfume, so a lot of scams are taking place.
At level 21 you are basically dropped into a world pvp zone with an option to turn off your pvp flag, altho attacking the opposite sides npc's does switch your flag back, and there are a host of quests which involve just that. Adding to the issues are the hacks, banners, and roving raids that just make soloing all but impossible. Not saying it can't be done, but it does give you a feeling of despair to be killed by the opposite side when fighting a monster.
Good game, needs some major bugs worked out and channels for the servers are just more servers, as 2 are clearly not enough. I'd give the game about a 6 out of 10 currently.
I'm curious about the death penalty. People reference the cash option to remove it as if it's something you are required to do? What exactly is the reason you aren't able to just wait for it to wear off? As in, having it actually be a death penalty?
I think I made it to around level 4 then went...*yawn...same 'ole same 'ole. Logged out and uninstalled.
Well you see, because it sucks to behind the main body of people progressing, due to it being harder and harder to find groups, I only start a game at release. That's a problem I have with F2P games, because they allow character's from open beta to carry over to the release version, plus they open the item shop while in open beta. This whole practice is unethical to me, so I usually don't bother with F2P games.
Anyways, I'll probably never play this game, since I refuse to play if the game will require me to spend more than $15/mo playing the same way I would in a P2P game. Even if they do fix this, it'll be too late, since the main body of people who're dedicated to the game will be between the middle and higher end of the game.
Hell yeah... wait for what?! I had a lvl 40 in CB. At lvl 40 Fear of Death is 51 minutes atm... and growing, as the RU server guys are saying, in the future patches. To remove - 1 perfume or 3,5 ingame gold (at 40 I was heaving like 900g; don't ask how much a an astral ship cost is).
well then play OB, F2P OB's are essentially release, nothing major is going to change from OB to release. Maybe they will fix the cash shop maybe they wont, people bitch and moan because a bag cost 20$, and bank expansion is ---- i forgot but its not cheep either. Guess what?!?!?!?! YOU DO NOT NEED THEM. If someone complains about bag prices I immediatly stop reading there post because to be blunt there ignorant, Ill listen to the people who complain about FoD/perfumes because that really effects game play, bags and bank do not. At the moment this game is better than any of the p2p crap thats been released in the last year.
Having a good time playing this for now. Only level 12 and the rumors of how play changes after 20 have me somewhat concerned. There are a few things I haven't figured out yet, but I haven't spent any time researching them either. There's alot of in game information if you feel like reading paragraph's of npc text. Getting all rep gear can be a little tedious, but not as bad a grind as many other games I've played (at least so far).
Only bugs I have encountered so far are graphic. A couple of times when switching off the map I had a couple indicators stay on screen floating around.
Nothing ground breaking, but over all very enjoyable. If it turns to crap, then oh well, it's free right?
With the perfume situation they are needed to remove death penalty but they aren't only in the cash shop. Once you are off of the Newbie island you can find quest that drop the item you need. These quest can take up to 20 minutes complete but you can do them every day for as long as you want. They drop the perfume..

Oh there are some major bugs with this game let me tell you about a few:
1) Pets when used in combat sometimes result in getting no credit (xp or quest) randomly. Been there since CBT 1.
2) Falling through the world. Been present since CBT 1 and with the severe death penalties becomes insane. There are areas/times where you will be walking along and oops.... eat FoD.
3) When you go to create an auction the item and the cost to make the auction are taken from your character but the auction "fails" according to the game and you are out of money and the item. Been present since CBT 1.
I run into these bugs DAILY. The second one is the worse as the FoD increases per level. The game is becoming more and more umplayable for me at this point.
Lets not forget the increasing amount of speed and fatigue hacking that is going on now, and supposedly there is now a hack where a person can attack you in the open pvp areas and the attacker never gets flagged so they can kill with impunity, not that the hit and run tactics of the speed hackers is any better.
With the current and soon to be worse FoD debuff timers this makes the game a hackers paradise, that Gpotato expects a small minority to fund just so they can be punished by poor world design and poor hack protection.
Cheers!
It's a tad misleading to not ALSO mention that these calculations are based on max levels and such. The Fear of Death mechanic is a non-issue for the majority of the game. Having played briefly in closed beta, and now in open, I just reached level 21 the other night, and have yet to have the Fear of Death affect me for more than 1 minute after death. A short enough time that I can hardly GET back to the fight in time for it to make a difference.
It seems like that portion of this review was based heavily upon the community outcry, which is entirely valid, the shop prices need some adjusting. But it's worth noting that fear of death is all but irrelevant until you reach much higher levels (unless changed, I don't think you even experience it until you're in the 10-15 range at all.)
I tried this game and all I can say is that is a perfect WoW clone.
So it is bad?
No, it isn't.
It is WoW for free...............so it's a good deal
There is a huge problem though.
Gold Seller spamming is umbearable.
The "zone" chat needs to be deactivated because there is one spam every 0.5 seconds (I am not making this up, they are macroing the message to be repeated very fast and indefinetly on the chat box)
But worse of all is that the characters spamming were the same ones for 2 days running, which means that Gpotatoes is doing fuckall about this problem, which isn't good at all.
I am enjoying the beta, but my issue is with character movement. It isn't so much WASD as it is QWE. Plus (discounting the lag) there seems to be sensitivity issues.
Glad to see the CS issues being mentioned.
Regarding the lack of mini map and auto attack, those are actually by design. They didn't want a minimap because it draws players attention away from the actual game world in front of them(which seemed silly until I thought about it an remembered all the times I would sit and navigate for a considerable time watching the stupid mini map rather than by eye like I used to in the EQ days) and auto attack was removed as it wasn't really necessary once you get a good set of abilities, and it made combat feel less "passive" during the noob levels. This of course is going to vary from person to person, but I enjoyed it.
Sorry I couldn't get through your wall of text. Shame, I'm sure you had some good points to make.
I'd second this.
While the OP is correct! The second time playing a game means you've gotton over the "oohh" and "aahh" and possible would warrant a second article. But it does seem that the cash shop item problem seems to be what this article is about.
While they are certainly fixing the Cash Shop according to an official announcement yesterday
No word yet on if they plan on fixing the 1.07 patch which will essentially Murder Allods in cold blood
I've played 10-15hrs so far and have been surprised at what a good game this is.
Character development is good with many attributes to play with allowing for much more customization as you level.
Ie... you can put points in Faith, Rage, Luck, Finesse...to name few.
I think 12 in total. I like this a lot!
The character models are very good looking. Especially the female ones...=P
There are tons of quests. Standard quests, but lots of them.
There is crafting, but I've yet to explore that yet.
I'm having a lot of fun playing this game. There is tons of content and it's all free, runs great and looks great.
I'm still in the early levels, with my highest being level 7, so things may change as I level up, but so far so good.
Two criticisms..
Gold spamming is out of control. Chat is completely useless.
Very limited storage space.
I'd give this game a score of 8.5 of 10 .
My opinion of the game varies from day to day since the release of open beta. The noob areas are just a hellish nightmare. It is part of the reason that I haven't really explored more than 1 class right now. I loath to start over again and re-experience the preteens of the game. The game really thins out around 11 or 12 and there aren't constant screens of gold spam and flame shouting anymore. Also less competition for resources at that point too. I mean it is still there, but less so.
I am currently level 25 with my main, a warden. I like to explore, but you encounter the "fall through the world and die" bug a lot if you do. It seems like the world needs some work where ever there is complex terrain or where 2 types of terrain meet. Just avoid it. Stay on main paths. The world is pretty nice looking as a whole. WoWesque, but better. Hard to explain. I really like the look of things as a whole. They did really well there. The environments are really well done from an artistic point of view if you like Blizzard-like cartoony looking styles, like I do. I find it a treat in that regard. The lack of a mount starts to slow you down really bad, but not paying for the game makes you appreciate the free world more. I would suspect that if I were paying a subscription this would start chaffing my backside somewhat, but for free I just walk and smell the roses. lol
I play mostly as a league hunter/shaman *ahem*, I mean warden, and the "my pet killed something and I got no credit for it" bug is really irksome. I hear it also effects summoners, but as I am not playing one I cannot say for sure. What I CAN say for sure is that it sucks to kill something like a quest boss and get no credit for it and have to try it again. This frustration is compounded by the rush for resources. I have had people fire off tirades at me because I just killed something only to have to try again due to this very bug. It can be infuriating and especially disheartening knowing that the developers have been aware of this since closed beta. I do like this class a lot though. It is like a WoW shaman had a baby with a WoW hunter. They really made this class fun otherwise. I do hope that in the future they consider offering permanent pet upgrades and rare pet type skins in the pay shop. I would buy them for sure!
One thing I like a lot about the game is the quests and the map. While a minimap would really help, I can do without it. I love that the quests are clearly marked and the world is simple, yet detailed enough in the overview. I have been really liking that aspect of this game and other games need to embrace this sort of simplicity.
The inventory system is just insane. I have felt the need for more bag slots from-the-get-go and that makes me worry. I have not dedicated myself to crafting in this game, as I am not much of a crafter in most MMOs, but I can really feel for the pain of those that are going to venture into the crafting system only to be hit with a bag slot wall at some point. To make matters worse the bank system is pathetically/maniacally small to boot.
The class/leveling system as whole in this game a little confusing at first, but really neat once you understand it. I like it a lot now. When I first started playing in closed beta I had no idea what my choices did really. I learned quickly though and that has helped me a lot. I love the attribute and skill point based system as it stands. Very customizable. I like customization..
That brings me to the lack of cosmetic customization options in this game. If they want this game to really shine they are going to have to start considering cosmetic options for the pay shop. I come from a "City of Heroes/Villains" and "Champions Online" background, so I really like making my character my own. I don't know how many other people are afflicted with customizationitis, but for me it is a chronic disease and one I would gladly throw some cash at...if it was offered.
The game post 20 becomes a soloists nightmare. Unless you reconcile with the fact that you are going to get ganked if you are alone, then avoid this game like the plague...at least the game after 21ish. At this point the game becomes a futile exercise in avoidance and grinding the gap of quests that can flag you. Just consider yourself warned. If you love PvP then this is the time when you will enjoy the game most. If you hate it...welll...you get the blood soaked picture.
Those are my current thoughts. These thoughts are as the game stands right now. They may change and with the new patch information saying that the mobs will be more difficult I am concerned. I hope it is not an attempt to try to wrestle cash from us through perfumes from the cash shop because we will be dying from mobs more often. It might be, but they had better think long and hard about those perfume prices first.
"The zone chat is a never-ending swarm of Warcraft conversation . . ."
I am guilty; I may have said some WoW references once or twice in-game. =]
Overall,
I agree with what the author has to say about this game, it is very polished and refined. The graphics are astounding and above average. It is so clear and smooth, it makes me dizzy if I play on full -everything-, so I have to tone down the sharpness if I want to stay concious. (I also have a hatred for the publisher... of all publishers WHY gPotato.)
The gameplay was different, some notable features are:
• No Auto-attack. (Kind of annoying at times.)
• Pre-casting. Preparing and storing a spell in advanced. (I know there are some games with this.)
• EVERY class has a racial! (Nothing that would make a huge impact though, but some are more desirable.)
If the airship battles are how they describe it, then this is very team oriented. I am really looking forward to this.
The major mechanic, I just hope they remove...
The annoying (and very stupid) glancing blows. Basically hinders your combat values (let's say, by 85%) of whatever you are normally supposed to do. Healing is also included with this. (i.e. Cast Heal100 * glancing!0.15 = 15 HP restored..!) The only way around glancing blows is to stack the 'Luck' attribute, which does not allow you to operate at your full potential since you are sacrificing some stats into this.
All-in-all, an entertaining game nonetheless. Plenty of originalities included, a good mix of in-game races and classes. Definitely worth a try, and does take a bit of patience.
I hope they add chat-bubbles nothing serious, but it is hard to pay attention to the chatbox with Zone chat flooding.
.......from what I've noticed from the article, the author is bringing a bit of information from what people are saying i zone chat (not a very accurate source). I think people need to stop complaining about a *free* game that is considerably better than many p2p games. First i would have to say, that he pulled $50 a month straight from what some people from zone chat say. Also, gpotato is looking at ways they can fix the perfume problem (the problem that people keep complaining about). What else i have to say? Instead of complaining how you "have" to pay, go ahead and create more than one character. Then, if you don't want to pay any money, then you can wait for the death penalty to end while playing your alt(s). I know that i don't have trouble reaching a lvl or more a day.
Seems to me there is a VERY easy solution to the Perfume issue..... hey just drop the price considerably...... Problum solved. For them to say they are looking for a solution and you to be defending this ubsurdity is just plain insulting. I played since closed beta but quit after looking at the cash shop prices. I am not trying to get anyone else to quit but heck folks they will charge these prices as long as people pay them and I, for one, am not willing to pay idiot taxes.

Actually, the solution is simpler than that... just remove perfume from the shop. If it cant be purchased, then the problem is fixed. There is no problem if you cant buy it at all, only if you can buy it for a high price.
Been playing for about a week now gotta level 16 brute and 13 mage. Seems to be ok so far. At this point FOD does not seem to be a big issue ,but later on down the road it can be a potential problem. Im also hearing the new patch is ridiculous , but idk guess will have to wait and see. ATM im having alot of fun with the game. Once it gets tot the point of becoming a hassle , and have to purchase purfumes every week. then i will probably stop playing. but if this is true that you can buy purfumes with gold and collect them from daily quest rewards i dont see a big problem here. Gpotato is well known for overpriced CS's. $40 for a mount in flyff. And yes the gold spamming got really bad ..i watched 2 of the same gold spammers spam for a whole day solid and Gpot. didnt lift a finger to stop it. At this point i give the game 8 out of 10. Get a new company running it and toss out Gpot. We might have a serious F2p game with its loads of potential.
I am an 18 summoner and I have yet to encounter the bug where if my pet kills something I dont get credit for it, Now if i put my pet to aggressive I dont get a darn thing because thats a game mechanic so a summoner cant afk grind xp!!
Umm, no offense but why are there so many Allods related articles at mmorpg.com, lately? I mean sure, its ur job, but it seems that Allods Online is somehow getting a little extra special treatment form you guys! ;:D
And a little more from me - here you can read about latest developments (aka patches).
More attention can be a bad thing too. In case of AO it is a bad thing, as each patch/piece of news brings it closer to... well... definitely not greater popularity.
Perfume price drop from $13.50 a stack to $3. No patch .07 (yet...)
The reduced prices aren't quite reduced enough. The initial prices shook my faith in this game too much. I played since CB1, and was really excited to see where Allods was going... but my trust is gone... Even if the perfumes don't cost an arm and a leg, the game is still progressing in the direction of forcing you to spend money, rather than making me want to to support a great game. It may come out to the same amount of cash, but it feels different, and I'm not as interested as I used to be.
Why is it exacrtly the reviewer feels that paying roughly $50 dollars a month to play this game isn't a big deal? the whole lets give them a pass because its a cash shop instead of a subscription puzzles me. If it were a MMO asking a $50 a month subscription you can bet the author would be discussing the price and not giving it a pass.
While its true Allods cash shop min cost isn't fixed yet. (It could very well be even more costly once fully released) a $50 a month minium cash shop investment to play the game at a moderate (not hardcore) pace is to me a major Issue. if ones gonna set aside almost all discussion of cost then they should review the released product as it stands without and cash investment (or free reviewer goodies) so players know exactly how much of a grind it will be to eek out levels above 10 etc.
I'm lvl 28 and i have to say that this game has gone from best hit to garbage... Every week the allod team makes mistakes over mistakes it's not improving but getting worst. I fear that this game will fail before launch and if not it will die within the first year.
If you don't buy Cash shop shit you are stuck with FoD that goes up 1 minute per lvl meaning at lv 40 if you die and do not have perfum you have 17 min of FoD. And not to mention that they got a flag system if you don't want to pvp but hry it does not work if one find's a war banner... all these little things makes the game we loved a piece of trash...
I've played since ob and have lvl 21 priest, lvl 19 warrior. There are many bugs in this game.
When trying to read quest the box will disappear in a few seconds, everytime a new person runs up and clicks on them.
Some spells you can precast, but often times that doesn't work but it sucks the mana cost anyway and you have to start over.
Lag and crash's or pretty normal, espicially as new mobs spawn.
well there are many but after all of my hours playing this game its hardly worth my time to list them all, most have been said already.
The high prices have been mentioned. But besides perfumes cs has potions that up your stats greatly and they cost $2 to $3 and only last 30 minutes. It's a huge cash sucktion game. Pay to win like most f2p's.
It's a good looking game but nothing new. Not worth all the hype being made of it.
I'm so tired of being told to go kill ten wolves...i'm sure not going to pay $5 an hour to do it.
greedpotato=allag online
Is PvP Factioned?
1st: caps lock spam is blocked by the spam blocker, so idk what u're talking about
2nd: mini map is rlly unnecessary as u said
3rd:fyi incendiary sux
4th: in case ppl think far away res is bad: summoners can res u later on for pvp, and just immediately ressing without punishment is stupid
5th: FoD can be removed by myrrh (new patch, plz don't put ppl off the game with old info)
7th: standard subscrip=incense for pvpers, but i don't have trouble finding unincensed ppl, so IMO its not a problem.
This game was destroyed by the "you must use the item shop... ALOT" patch. It's no longer worth playing no any level.
