$20 Not a bad price to try out a game that has improved quite a bit since launch.

Yup, just picked up a copy for £12.99, can't argue with that.

Having a blast so far!

Revenge is a dish best served with mayonnaise and those little cheesy things on sticks.

You should get a popup with the CD key after you download+install the game and try to launch it for the first time. After that, you can right-click the game in your Steam library and a "View game CD key" option should be there, in case you forget it. There are no boxes; Steam is completely digital.

So I have to pay in order to do a job?

Seriously though, how is the game after the 1.9 patch? Still a grindfest?

Regardless of the topic the answer is always: WoW-clone.

So I got really drunk, and ended up buying this game from the high amount of peer pressure from my friends....

And its actually amazing!! Ive already played for 6 hours, to me thats way more than enough to constitute the 20 bucks, plus month sub.

(I acutally bought a three month sub, but if the game keeps up the pace like it has been, i could see myself getting a couple months out of it.)

No matter what game,  going for a three month sub right with the client purchase is.. wee risky.

I would suggest you tone down the enthusiasm=) I was excited like you when I started playing Aion but by the late teens I was bored. I tried making alts but kept hitting a wall at lvl19.

Yea, i could see that, im going to just try and get into a good legion, im not like most people, if a game is decent but has a good community i can play forever.

Hence SWG, medicore game at best, but with the best community ever, too bad for the NGE. :(

But thanks for the advice, I will keep it to a minimum, if not for anything else than to save myself and others the dissapointment of a boring midgame.

had the same in beta (on a friends account) cause of the incredible - to me- boring questing...stopped too at lvl 16 or so, never made an alt.

Its a good thing the two of you who made it to 16 and 19 only quit when you did cause it gets a lot harder to level especially when you hit 35 + ;)  Although I do have to say that 1.9 added new quests and bumped quest Xp quite a bit and thats helped me level my new main a lot faster then the first time I played to 50

$20 is a good buy I agree but the game just gets SO boring at higher lvls. I love the graphics and all and defiantly like the concept... I guess the game just doesn't feel right for me to come back. Hopefully you guys enjoy it though!

Sorry to hear that...perhaps check back when 2.0 launches or even when the servers merge on July 7th! You can bet your life there will be tons of PvP action going on. Can't wait, personally. :)

SO i didn't feel like messin around with it and just forgot about that game, but with 20 dollar on steam I may just get back into the game , and level up again , but do it on the asmo side this time so it wont feel like the same old shit.
