Correct me if i'm wrong here.

Aion has been released for a while already overseas. aye?

Based on that wouldn't one expect a certain degree of polish to the game rather than the constant crash-fest (outside the first 10 levels)  On a side note the attention to detail on the wording in the americanized version is lacking quite a bit.

At least you can get the game to work. If you have the latest Norton firewal, windows 7 or cisco router, Aion won't even work.

I have a Norton firewall and a Cisco router and Vista x 64 and have never had the game crash yet. I've been on the beta forums on all the betas and have not seen anyone else complain of this either.

There is some issues with gameguard and windows 7 but then again windows 7 is beta so wouldnt expect it to work.

Windows 7 is not beta, kernel build is final. It's in shops across the world in 90 days.

Doesn't really matter what "one" would expect, because everyone here is going to expect the best game ever from version one.

Oh really?

There's many players with issues. I am not the only one.

Weren't you the one claming quake live used a similar system with onlive?

And you believe everything wiki tells you? No comments.

Seriously try to get some updated info. I am playing Aion with win7 in a 2 years old machine, I do not need you to convince me it does not work.

If you still insist though:

http://eu.aiononline.com/en/news/article/closed_beta_event_3_news_and_schedule

And this is just the official way to announce something that anyone with minor research skills was already aware to be working.

First of all, the name of this thread should be "Need help with Technical Issues", not "Did I Expect Too Much".

Second, I use Vista 64, this is the third beta event I've been in, and have zero issues.

Third, how can  you post about technical issues, but fail to provide a DXdiag, or any information on your system and drivers?

There was a post from the community spokes person that they had put up new files for game guard and Win 7.  It also stated they were still considered beta files.

They fixed it for Vista 64 after the first play test.  Tho I suppose it may conflict with certain things as I probably turn off things the average person doesn't.

You will notice at least on Vista 64 that the same errors still show up in event viewer that showed up when it was crashing.  So now it doesn't crash but it IS still giving the same event errors.

I have no idea on Win 7's actual current state as I haven't bothered with it.  Tho I'm not sure in this case I am going to use wiki as a reference point compared to Aionsource or the beta forums...  /shrug that's just me.

Being able to choose the skills you want to use, offers much less variety than pre-made class based systems.

That means all cars are red right?

Because you can run Aion doesn't mean everyone can does it? Or are you too dumb to understand that?

Calling me dumb yet you can't do any decent research as proven over and over? Someone is getting upset here, the need of insulting is strong on you my young padawan.

I would say you are probably dumb if you can't make Aion work, anyone i know that has win7 and did what I did has no issues.

Your example is also as bad as someone saying they can't make Aion work in winxp (because they do exist too).

You also said it did not work in win7, not that it did not work with some users. Stop being a fool and refrain from posting useless info, that is my advise.

I was a bit hyped, but there are a few things that caused me to dislike Aion. The release of Star Wars and Final Fantasy XIV, things like that.

Whoa there, feisty one. Let's backtrack a moment.

Your exact statement was "If you have the latest Norton firewal, windows 7 or cisco router, Aion won't even work."

All he was doing was showing it currently working on a Win 7 system. The only person that made a blanket statement - and a false one at that - was you.

3 pages and you have not yet provided your system specs.   Run a DXdiag and post it, or go away, because at this moment, you appear to be nothing but a troll.
